Brent Rose was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he performed with companies such as The Shotgun Players and Magic Theatre. He studied acting in NYC at the Atlantic Theatre Company before attending the MFA program at the renowned Denver Center's National Theatre Conservatory.

Upon graduation from the NTC, Brent returned to New York City, where he appeared on stage at the Kennedy Center, Ars Nova, Sonnet Rep, NY Stage & Film’s Powerhouse Theatre Company, AMIOS Theatre, and was a founding company member of Fight or Flight NYC. He appeared on television in Guiding Light, and in film (What Just Happened directed by Barry Levinson), and graduated from the improv training program at the Upright Citizens Brigade. He wrote and acted in web series for CBS as well as Titan TV.

Brent's career as a journalist began taking off, and he has written for publications such as Wired, Outside Magazine, Gizmodo, Conde Nast Traveler, Popular Science, Deadspin, Men's Journal, Jezebel, and many others. Upon moving to Los Angeles he began combining his two careers, creating several popular web series (including Wired's Out of Office with Brent Rose, and Gizmodo's Bespoke America), as well as hosting several TV pilots. Brent continues to do voice-over work for popular podcasts including Pessimists Archive and Flash Forward, as well as for the animated short Going It Alone, which he also wrote and directed.
