bio Brent was born and raised in the Bay Area. An outdoor enthusiast and preservationist, wilderness backpacking, surfing, swimming, and camping are among his passions. He has been playing guitar and writing songs for ten years, and is now learning how to record and mix (check out the music section). He loves hip-hop, Bob Dylan, and many seemingly random things in between. As a writer, Brent has written two full-length plays, a few dozen one-acts, a handful of short films, an original web-series, an estimated 300-something poems, a comparable quantity of prose, and several episodes for popular internet shows (one recently nominated for a Webby). He is an actor first and foremost, however, and while Shakespeare's work is perhaps his favorite to perform in, he feels equally at home in gritty realism and comedy, and couldn't imagine life without doing a bit of both. He has several short, filmic projects in development at the time of this writing, and he is hoping to have them in the clips section soon. For more info, see the current projects page. |
